Cornwall is often described as the ‘garden capital of the world’ as the lush vegetation and colour gives garden lovers a feast for the eyes all year round.

The resort of Newquay itself is Cornwall’s beach paradise with seven miles of sandy beaches and beautiful cliff top walks.

 

The Pentire Hotel is situated in a prominent position and you will enjoy good food in a very attractive setting.  All rooms have en suite facilities and are well appointed with central heating, colour TV & radio, hair dryer and a hot drink making facility.  A lift serves all floors. There are superb leisure facilities including an indoor swimming pool, sauna, pool table and table tennis.

Excursion-1 The Lost Gardens of Heligan offers 200 acres for exploration, including extensive Victorian productive gardens and pleasure grounds, a lush ‘sub-tropical’ jungle and a pioneering wildlife project.  It is one of the most mysterious estates in England which lay undiscovered for many years and is now an award-winning garden restoration.  Entrance fee included.

 

Excursion-2 is to visit ‘The Eighth Wonder of the World’.  The Eden Project is an unforgettable experience in a breathtaking location, a global garden and a place of beauty and wonder.  Space age technology meets the lost world in the biggest greenhouse ever built – the Biomes.  Entrance fee included.

 

Excursion-3 takes us firstly to St Ives, one of the most famous seaside towns in Cornwall with cobbled streets full of history, legend and tradition, then on to Penzance, home of the pirates and beautifully set in Mounts Bay dominated by the grandeur of St Michael’s Mount.

 

Costs: £230 per person + £20 single supplement (only 5 single rooms available)
