Our visit to the Savill Garden in Windsor Great Park was wonderful! We had perfect weather, not too hot and not too cold with sun and blue skies. The rhododendrons and azaleas were superb and those of us who walked to the Valley Gardens were rewarded with an even more fantastic display of these plants in the Punchbowl where the colours were breath-taking. All parts of the garden were lovely and although the rose gardens and herbaceous borders were not yet at their peak, we could see how beautiful they were going to be in the coming weeks. There was good food at the restaurant and café and excellent opportunities for retail therapy in the gift and plant shop. A very enjoyable day in a superb garden.
