The aim of the group is to share and develop an appreciation of the link between history, art and architecture and to explore this from early  civilisation through to the present day.

Susanne Carr is an experienced Art Historian, having for many years lectured and tutored in Art History at Oxford University and has guided art tours at the National Gallery and at the Wallace Collection

We aim to have a presentation by a member or shorter part presentations by three or four members at each of the monthly meetings exploring the art, architecture and history of the various periods.
