What we do

We all love a good story; whether it is a real-life adventure or pure fiction; cheerful or tragic, realistic or fantasy. It is a strong story line and a well-written script that makes a good programme on TV. On radio and in books, it is even more important that the written word enables us to draw a picture in our minds and often you wish you could discuss a good or disappointing experience with other people.

This is what a book group can do – it can introduce you to new authors or different types of books you might never have considered reading and allows the opportunity to share your views with other like-minded people.
