Food and Wine Group – August 2014

Twenty five members of the Food and Wine Group enjoyed a buffet lunch at the Pink and Lily on a beautiful summers day in August.

The buffet consisted of a selection of sandwiches and filled wraps, honey roast ham, brie and grapes, homemade Cumberland sausage and caramelised onion rolls and BBQ sticky drumsticks to name but a few items. To finish there was a selection of petit fours and tea
or coffee. Unfortunately one of the tables managed to spread their coffee around the table, including a pair of shoes and someone’s trousers!!!

Our thanks go to Eileen and Geoff for arranging the buffet as an end to our summer meetings.
