Aims and Objectives
The Out With Friends Group is for people who need to socialise on their own either because they live alone or for some other reason.
The group currently has 60 members with an attendance of 35-40 at most meetings. Out with Friends enables members to meet others with similar interests, to arrange outings and events in small or larger groups. At the meetings members put forward ideas for activities of various kinds.

What we do
Our regular activities have continued with increasing numbers getting together for sociable lunches. We had an interesting and successful day out in London visiting the Supreme Court and the Lavender farm visit was enjoyed in spite of unrelenting rain and soggy clothes!
Members attended a sale of rare plants at the lovely Adwell House, arriving home with several plants each. Other members spent a day in Oxford on the “Open Doors’ weekend, visiting several colleges and finishing with an Oxford coffee concert.
We are also planning to organise a short helicopter ride – no date as yet.
