Report on 24th June 2015 programme

Peter Willett presented this programme under the title of “The king of Instruments” a phase coined by W A Mozart in 1770  about the pipe organ.

He compared pipe organs to cars, pianos and electronic organs, and proceeded to explain the various features of pipe organs and how they all functioned.

This presentation was interspersed by listening to various recordings of pipe organ music.
