Christmas Cracker at the Cadogan Hall
On Sunday 18th December 2016 we went up to Cadogan Hall for “Christmas Cracker.” This is always great fun with a lot of audience participation. One brave lady in the audience even got up on stage and sang a christmas carol.
Lots of us had lunch in Peter Jones but it was really very busy and so we couldn’t all sit together. A lovely atmosphere with a brass band playing.
The Nutcracker at the London Coliseum
On Tuesday 3rd January 2017 we went up to the London Coliseum to see the English National perform “The Nutcracker” and what a performance it was! This was a “child friendly” performance but the children on the whole were so good and for the most part sat still and were just as enthralled as we were. An excellent performance.
The ENO had a record breaking season at the London Coliseum for this ballet with over 73,000 people coming to see it during 2015/2016. They also performed in Spain, Oman and France. This time for lunch quite a few of us went over to the National Gallery and had a “costly but nice bowl of soup and sandwich.”
What a lovely way to start the New Year!
If you have a friend are on your own or a couple do come on our trips. I try to cater for all interests. We have a lovely 2017 programme. Just give me a call.
